La Dolfina Sancor Seguros Achieved Its Sixth Consecutive Title At The Palermo Open

The world’s largest interclub event in which 10 teams of 28 to 40 goals of valorization participated, came to an end on Sunday after La Dolfina Sancor Seguros matched against Las Monjitas in the finals of the 125th Argentine Open. The multiple champions La Dolfina Sancor Seguros played with a 40-goal team comprising of Adolfo Cambiaso, David Stirling, Pablo Mac Donough and Juan M Nero. Las Monjitas, on the other hand, played with a 37 goal team comprised of Facundo Sola, Hilario Ulloa, Guillermo Caset and Santiago Toccalino.

In the first chukker, La Dolfina Sancor Seguros team was overwhelmed by Las Monjitas, who with two brilliant initial chukkers entered the third chukkers with a difference of three goals. From there, La Dolfina improved their defence and six goals from Adolfo Cambiaso in the next three chukkers put them ahead in the game. The CanÅ«elas team managed the game and entered the sixth chukker with a difference of 5 goals. The 5-goal advantage was irrecoverable for Las Monjitas and even though it continued to fight till the end, they couldn’t remove the five-goal difference. The multiple champions, La Dolfina Sancor Seguros defeated Las Monjitas by 17-12 and won the Argentine Open for the sixth time in a row.

La Dolfina Sancor Seguros achieved its 12th title in its 18th final. It was their 14th consecutive final and 6th consecutive victory in 19 Palermo Openings played since the club was created in 2000. Las Monjitas couldn’t celebrate their first decisive match in Palermo.
