Day 1: 4th October, 2022
Bedla Polo and Sahara Warriors faced off on the first day of the tournament. Rao Himmat Singh Bedla, Dhananjai Singh, Angad Kalaan, and Lance Watson represented the Bedla Polo team, which had a face off with Anant Raj Purohit, Lt Col Yatinder Kumar, Shamsheer Ali, and Chris Mackenzie of the Sahara Warriors. The match was dominated by Sahara Warriors over Bedla Polo, with the former winning with a score of 9 against 8 goal points.
In another match, The Leela Polo Team played against team Krishna Polo, with former team members Adhiraj Singh, Evan Power, HH Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur, and Abhimanyu Pathak. Krishna Polo consituted of players Ashvini Sharma, Hamza Ali, Gaurav Sehgal, and Daniel Otamendi. The Leela Polo Team won by a score of 7 points to 5.
Day 2: 5th October, 2022
The match featured a fierce competition between the members of the opposing teams, Bedla Polo (with Rao Himmat Singh Bedla, Dhananjai Singh, Angad Kalaan, and Lance Watson) and the Carysil Chandna (with Ranshay Purohit, Ashok Chandna, Kuldeep Singh Rathore, and Matias Vial). The Carysil Chandna Polo team defeated the Bedla Polo team by a score of 7 to 6.
Day 3: 7th October, 2022
The Leela Polo Team vs. Krishna Polo match featured an outstanding performance by Adhiraj Singh, Evan Power, HH Maharaja Sawai Padmanbh Singh of Jaipur, and Abhinmanyu Pathak of Leela Polo Team, who competed against Ashvini Sharma, Hurr Ali, Gaurav Sahgal, and Daniel Otamendi. The Leela Polo Team took the breakthrough with a score of 8 goals against 5.
The next match confronted Sahara Warriors against Carysil Chandna Team, with the former led by Maj Anant Rajpurohit, Lt Col Yatinder Kumar, Shamsheer Ali, and Chris Mackenzie, while the latter was led by Ranshay Purohit, Ashok Chandna, Kuldeep Singh Rathore, and Matias Vial. With a score of 8 against 7, Team Carysil Chandna moved closer to the finals.
Day 4: 9th October, 2022
The day began with a contest between the Leela Polo Team and Carysil Chandna, portraying the former were the members Louis Ronksley, Evan Power, HH Maharaja Sawai Padmanbh Singh of Jaipur, and Ahinmanyu Pathak accompanied by the rivals team members, Ranshay Pandit, Ashok Chandna, Kuldeep Singh Rathore, Matias Vial, both the teams put up an equivalently wonderful contest, however, due to heavy rainfall, the match ended in two chukkers, with both the teams being declared as winners.
USPA Cup, 2022
The fourth edition of the USPA Cup, presented by the Mayo Alumni Association Of Southern India, was a miraculous display of the modern Polo scene, held on October 10, 2022, at the Rajasthan Polo Club.
K D Singh/ Baladitya Singh, Kr. Vikramaditya Singh, HH Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur, and Kr. Pratap Singh Kanota represented Mayo White, andcompeted against members Kr Tejveer Jhala/ Vishal Hala, Th. Veeram Dev Krishnawat, Rao Himmat Singh Bedla, and Kr. Bhawani Singh Kalvi representing Mayo Green. Both teams put on an artistic display, with their mallets rising as wizards, striking the final blow as the match ended in a tie, with each team scoring two goals.
