London Design Week 2017

D

esign is known to be a very complex form of art that takes a lot of creativity and innovation. It certainly requires pursuit of excellence, an interest in experimentation and the expertise in craftsmanship and technicality. The designers, architects and tastemakers from the UK were a part of Design Centre in Chelsea Harbour from 12th to 17th March, 2017.

This year’s London Design Week was all about exploration of methods and creators to discover the science of design. The event was a perfect opportunity for aspiring young designers, influencers and young thinkers to explore new perspectives and exchange ideas with specialists at the workshops.

A platform for more than 600 established brands, the show displayed a widespread compilation to a global audience. This event was an original idea formed in the year 2003 by two of the Britain’s greatest design advocates- graphic designer Sir John Sorrell and political campaign consultant Ben Evans. London Design Week saw the revival of patterns and colors. It also witnessed the zoological animal prints, botanical motifs, rocks and jewel-like tones on a geological theme. From cutting-edge to witty and lyrical, the design range on offer at London Design Week 2017 was extremely remarkable.
