The Midhurst Town Cup

This unique town cup being played on the first Sunday of the Jaeger-LeCoultre Gold Cup Tournament, was presented to the club by the local business community in 1953 to recognise the prominence brought to the town by the game called polo. Local residents and newcomers to the sport are especially welcome to participate, since it is a fabulous family event.

The entry for the Jaeger-LeCoultre Gold Cup games between 27th june and 16th july at £5, and £20 for both the 19th Semi Finals and 23rd July Final.

This event was held on 2nd July, Sunday at 12:00 pm. The venue was The Cowdray Park Polo Club, Easebourne, Midhurst, United Kingdom, which is recognised worldwide as the home of British Polo. Its set in an area of outstanding natural beauty within Viscount Cowdray 16,500 acre estate in West Sussex. The Midhurst Town Cup League A was held at 3:00 pm on the same day.

This day is a fantastic day out which combines watching exhilarating games of high-goal polo with a number of fun attractions off the pitch.
As well as action on the polo pitch, there are also a number of attractions including a mini funfair and entertainment, street food, pop up bar, stalls, and various other attractions. This day has been sponsored by Jackson-Stops & Staff with prizes donated by Aspinal of London.

The big game of the afternoon was at 3 pm that consisted of La Bamba de Areco (12) vs King Power foxes (11).
The match held at 12 pm consisted of RH polo (15) vs Murus Sanctus (7).

There were a lot of individuals who showcased their talents here and a lot of spectators who came to spend their sunday afternoon and enjoy themselves. It was truly a delightful family event enjoyed by all.
