1. GSTAD’GOLD STANDARD- The Hublot Gold Cup (14-goal Tournament)

The Hublot Gold Cup got off to a rocky start, with challenging weather which thankfully cleared up in a few days!
After the traditional ceremonial line-up of players, the spectators were raring to go and bayed for the thunder of hooves!
Moving towards the games, the hosts, Gstaad Palace, had to overcome three obstacles: Hublot, Kielder Agro Group, and Albinati Aeronautics.
Gstaad Palace and Albinati Aeronautics made significant progress in the competition, leaving their competitors behind. Eventually, it was the Argentinians from both teams who were in a face-off, and the best men from Gstaad Palace won hands down!
The decider for 3rd and 4th place was held on the same day, where Kielder Agro Group conquered Hublot Polo, ending their campaign on a slightly higher note.
2. Mudgee Annual Tournament (30- 31st August)

Marking its grand appearance for a whopping 120th time, the Mudgee Polo Club welcomed its annual Harvey Nickoll Cup. The grounds at “Cumbandry” are being meticulously prepared for the two grades of play, along with the opportunity for “Subzero” play.

Awarded to the team that accomplishes the feat of becoming the champion team of ponies.

Megdee Polo Cup
Awarded to the best-playing team in the entire event.

Coombs Rouse Cup
The most valuable player (MVP) of the season gets to brag about bagging the Coombs Rouse Cup.
This event captures the attention of all locals in the New South Wales region of Australia. The high-stakes international action and serene setting, along with the opportunity to experience Australia’s hospitality, make this year’s tournament more exciting than ever.
Results and Winners:
- In the Grade A category, Scone A challenged the hosts, Mudgee A, for the prestigious Harvey Nickoll Challenge Cup. Scone clinched a victory, upsetting the hosts.
- For the Grade B final, Arunga battled the dominant Scone B for the Whyatt Cox Memorial Trophy. Both teams’ spirits remained unflustered till the very end, but eventually, Scone B won.
- Celebrating individual excellence, the Coombs Rouse Cup was awarded to Gus Payne, rightfully earning the title of MVP.
3. Berlin Maifeld Polo Cup (30- 31 August)

Berlin’s biggest and baddest high-goal championship, the Berlin Maifeld Polo Cup, is already underway at the historic Maifeld in Berlin’s Olympiapark. Ten power-packed teams participated, vying for the Engel & Völkers (sponsors) Berlin Polo Cup (Berlin Maifeld Polo Cup).
The event is a magnet which attracts a wide range of high-profile audiences, including celebrities and influencers eager to visit the historic 1936 Berlin Olympic Stadium.
With sponsors like US Polo Assn, the prestigious Gold Cup and the title of the “German Polo Champion” on the line, the audience eagerly awaits the exciting finals at the end of this month!
Results and Winners:
- Engel & Völkers displayed ingenious tactics that helped them achieve a confident win over the resilient Netjets. Their balanced approach and cohesive teamwork outmanoeuvred Netjets throughout the match.
- On day 2, Robert Kofler led his team, Bentley Berlin, towards victory. His commanding performance anchored the team and brought out the best in each teammate.
- Plusquadrat defeated Koha with aggressive offence and steadfast defence, earning them the Berlin Maifeld Polo Cup. Their team’s strategic positioning helped them build momentum and dominate the game with consistent pressure.
