Polo Begins in Jodhpur: Umaid Bhawan Palace Cup

The Jodhpur Polo Season transitioned from showcasing young talents to featuring four seasoned teams, each armed with experience and determination, ready to clash at the MGSF Polo Ground in Jodhpur. The event, which concluded last week, brought thrilling matches and memorable performances. Here’s a recap of the participants and games.

Match 1: Mayo College vs Mehrangarh 

Date: 4 December 

The tournament’s opening game featured a showdown between Mayo College and Mehrangarh. Despite Mehrangarh’s initial points advantage, Mayo College rose to the challenge with determination. They not only erased the lead but also scored additional goals to secure a triumphant win in the first match of the Umaid Bhawan Palace Cup.

Match 2: Umaid Bhawan Palace vs Balsamand 

Date: 5 December 

The following day featured an exciting match between Umaid Bhawan Palace and Balsamand. Umaid Bhawan Palace delivered a stellar performance, scoring the highest number of goals in the tournament.
