The finals of the 20 goal tournament- Arg. Polo Tour Ellerstina took place on April 21st at the Ellerstina Polo Club. The final turned out to be a gripping match as both teams gave it their all.
Power Infrastructure featuring Miguel Mendoza 0, Valerio Zubiaurre (h) 8, Alejandro Muzzio 8 and Jorge Fernandez Ocampo 4 faced La Ensenada that had Ernesto Gutierrez 0, Juan Martin Zubia 7, Bartolome Castagnola (h) 6, Jeronimo Del Carril 7 in their ranks.
Both teams started the match confidently and the score was tied at 5-5 at the end of the second chukker. The third chukker was a different story as Power Infrastructure worked together as an attacking unit and set the tone of the match by gaining a 9-6 lead.
Power Infrastructure defended their lead and hit their opponents on the counter. The match finished at 14-11 in favour of Power Infrastructure.
“Halcon” played by Miguel Mendoza was given the Best Playing Pony award.
