Rajnigandha Achievers Champions Trophy Winners

13th Oct, Day 1

The match pitted the Mayfair Polo team, led by Anay Shah, Dhananjai Singh, Abhimanyu Pathak, and Siddhant Sharma, against the Amyza Polo team, led by Naveen Singh, Rajiv Reddy, Hurr Ali, and Basheer Ali. With animalistic vitality surrounding the playing field, the Mayfair Polo team grabbed victory from the jaws of defeat, against the Amyza Poo team, with a goal of  9 to 5.5.

14th Oct, Day 2

Blazing the horns, the second match of the season commenced with a competition between two well-known champions of the field, The Jindal Panther, playing were Sanjula Mann, Ricardo Nunez, Simran Singh Shergil, Krishna Inkiya, and in combat were, Sujan Indian Tigers, backed by Jaisal Singh, Veeram Dev S Krishnawat, Sawai Padmanabh Singh, Salvador Jauretche, snatching the victory from the jaws of defeat, the Tigers won against the Panther, in a close call of 6 to 7 points.

Following this, the afternoon heat sage the spirits of COL Girdhari Singh ASC’s Team, slaying their performances were the team of four consisting of Capt Raumik Sharma, Ravinder Mang, Aman Singh, and Chris Mackenzie, playing against Capt ARS Warraich, Gaurav Sahgal, Salim Azmi, and Dhruv Pal Godara, squashing their win with a 7 to 5 goal.

In the final match of the day, Rajnigandha Achievers defeated the Amyza Polo team by a landslide. Dino Dhankar, Vishwarupe Bajaj, Shamsheer Ali, and the match’s highest scorer Daniel Otamandi led the way for the achievers, while Amyza Polo, Sahi Koshik, Hurr Ali, Naveen Singh, and Basheer Ali were defeated by a score of 10 to 3 goals.

15th Oct, Day 3

The Sujan Indian Tigers were defeated by Team Kara Polo. The Kara Polo team, led by Jaisal Singh, Veeram Dev S Krishnawat, Sawai, Padmananabh Singh, and Salvador Jauretche, defeated Capt ARS Warraich, Gaurav Sahgal, Salim Azmi, and Dhruv Pal Godara by a score of 7 to 5.

Keeping up the sprites on day 3 of the tournament, the team of COL Girdhari Singh ASC won by a score of 11 to 10 goals, matching their previous record. The enigmatic and enamored artists of the field, Capt Raumik Sharma, Nk Ravinder Mang, Maj Aman Singh, and Chris Mackenzie of the winning team, were collaborating with their teams. Sanjula Maan, Ricardo Nunez, Simran Singh Shergil, and Krishna Inkiya of the Jindal Panther team competed equally.

The Rajnigandha achievers won an ecstatic sweep against the Mayfair Polo team, proving that history is written by the achievers. Dino Dhankar, Vishwarupe Bajaj, Shamsheer Ali, and Daniel Otamandi competed against Anay Singh, Dhananjay Singh, Abhimanyu Pathak, and Siddhant Sharma. The match was won by the Achievers, who defeated the Mayfair Polo team by a score of 5 to 4.

 

16th Oct, Day 4 – Final

The Bhopal Pataudi Cup final was a glorious display of fortune and fortitude, enveloping together and seizing the opportunity. The Rajnigandha Achievers won the 2022 Bhopal-Pataudi Cup finals trophy. Members of the Achievers team, Dino Dhankar, Vishwarupe Bajaj, Shamsheer Ali, and Daniel Otamandi, who succeeded them as champions of COL Girdhari Singh ASC, consisting of players Capt Raumik Sharma, Nk Ravinder Marg, Maj Aman Singh, and Chris Mackenzie. The Rajnidandha Achievers lifted the trophy, bringing this year’s cup to a close. The winning team won by a single goal, and the Achievers Team was crowned with a score of 7 against 6.
