Rajputana & Central India Cup (10 Goals) 2022

19th December 2022

Match 1: The first match of the Cup was a face-off between teams Patine (consisting of players Mr Amer Randhawa, Kr. Dhananjay Singh Rathore, Syed Basheer Ali, and Mr Gonzalo Yanzon) and Bedla Polo ( consisting of players Rao Himmat Singh Bedla, Maj. Mrityunjay Singh, Mr Abhimanyu Pathak, and Mr Lance D Eric Watson). The former was dressed in white while the latter donned red.

The match was off to a slow beginning as Bedla Polo managed to score 2 goals in the first chukker whereas Patine scored none. The case remained the same in the second chukker as well, however, the competition picked up pace in the third chukker wherein Patine scored 2 goals, courtesy of Syed Basheer Ali, and Bedla Polo scored 1 goal. By the end of the final chukker, the final score was 7-3.5, a clear win for Bedla Polo.

Match 2: The second match of the day was a confrontation between Sujan Ashwa (consisting of player Veeram Dev Singh Krishnawat, Kr. Yongeshwar Singh, Mr Angad Kalaan, and Mr Silvestre Donovan) and team Jodhpur Carysil (consisting of players Mr Ranshay Purohit, Mr Guy Gibrat, Kr. Kuldeep Singh Rathore, and Mr Dhruvpal Godara).

The match started slowly with Sujan Ashwa scoring 2 goals in the first chukker and Jodhpur Carysil scoring 1 goal. The pace was picked up in the second chukker as things got heated when Sujan Ashwa scored 4 stunning goals in comparison to Jodhpur Carysil’s 2 goals. However, Jodhpur Carysil gained the lead in the third chukker with 3 goals scored by Mr Guy Gibrat. Sujan Ashwa was leading with 3 goals in the final chukker and turned the match around in their favour as the scoreboard saw a final score of 10-7.

 

20th December 2022

The match took place between teams Rajnigandha Achievers (consisting of players Mr Mukesh Singh, Mr Vishwarupe Bajaj, Syed Shamsheer Ali, and Mr Chris Mackenzie) and Bedla Polo (consisting of players Rao Himmat Singh Bedla, Maj. Mrityunjay Singh, Mr Abhimanyu Pathak, and Mr Lance D Eric Watson). The former donned blue while the latter donned red.

The match saw an intense struggle between the teams as they both managed to score 2 goals each in the first chukker. Rajnigandha Achievers were leading with 2 goals against 1 in the second chukker. The third chukker was stunted with only 1 goal scored by Rajnigandha Achievers and none by Bedla Polo. The final chukker was intense as Mr Chris Mackenzie single-handedly scored 3 goals for Rajnigandha Achievers while Bedla Polo scored 2 goals. The final score stood at 8-5, in favour of Rajnigandha Achievers.

 

21st December 2022

Match 1: The first match of the day took place between teams Jodhpur Carysil (consisting of players Mr Ranshay Purohit, Mr Guy Gibrat, Kr. Kuldeep Singh Rathore, and Mr Dhruvpal Godhara) and Sujan Indian Tigers (consisting of players Mr Jaisal Singh, Kr. Bhawani Singh Kalvi, H.H. Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur, and Mr Siddhant Sharma).

The first chukker saw a 1-all score between both teams. In the second chukker, both teams managed to score 2 goals each. The Sujan Indian Tigers dominated the third chukker with 3 goals against 1. During the final chukker, as both teams struggled, Jodhpur Carysil led with 3 goals while Sujan Indian Tigers scored 2. However, the scoreboard proclaimed the latter as winners with a final score of 8-7.

Match 2: The second match of the day was between teams Rajnigandha Achievers (consisting of players Mr Mukesh Singh, Mr Vishwarupe Bajaj, Syed Shamsheer Ali, and Mr Chris Mackenzie) and Patine (consisted of players Mr. Amer Randhawa, Kr. Dhananjay Singh, Syed Basheer Ali, and Mr. Gonzalo Yanzon).

The match started off with the Rajnigandha Achievers taking the lead in the first chukker as they scored 2 remarkable goals while the opposing team scored 1. They continued to lead in the second chukker with 4 extraordinary goals, while Patine scored 1. The lead was maintained through the third chukker with 3 goals while Patine scored 2. Patine took over in the final chukker and scored 3 impressive goals while Rajnigandha Achievers scored 1. The final score was 10-8.5, in favour of the Rajnigandha Achievers.

 

23rd December, 2022 

Match 1: The first match of the day was a confrontation between teams Rajnigandha Achievers (consisting of players Mr. Mukesh Singh, Mr. Vishwarupe Bajaj, Syed Shamsheer Ali, and Mr. Chris Mackenzie) and Sujan Ashwa (consisting of players Kr. Yogeshwar Singh, Mr. Angad Kalaan, Mr. Silvestre Donovan, and Th. Veeram Dev Singh Krishnawat).

With the start of the first chukker, the Rajnigandha Achievers were leading with 2 goals scored by Mr. Chris Mackenzie while Sujan Ashwa scored none. They maintained the lead in the second chukker with 4 goals while Sujan Ashwa scored 1. Sujan Ashwa picked up the pace in the third chukker and scored 3 stunning goals, similar to the opposing team. The fourth chukker was an intense one and Rajnigandha Achievers scored 4 splendid goals while Sujan Ashwa scored 2, the match turning in the former’s favour. The final score was 13-6, a transparent win for the Rajnigandha Achievers.

Match 2: The second match of the day took place between team Sujan Indian Tigers (consisting of players Mr. Jaisal Singh, Kr. Bhawani Singh Kalvi, H.H. Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur, and Mr. Siddhant Sharma) and Bedla Polo (consisting of players Rao Himmat Singh Bedla, Maj. Mrityunjay Singh, Mr. Abhimanyu Pathak, and Mr. Lance D Eric Watson).

The match started off pretty intense as Sujan Indian Tigers managed to score 4 marvellous goals in the first chukker as opposed to Bedla Polo’s 2. The second chukker saw even scores of 2 goals for either team. The third chukker saw Mr. Jaisal Singh of Sujan Indian Tigers shining with 2 goals while Bedla Polo scored 1. The situation was vice-versa in the fourth chukker and the final score was 8-7, a close win for the Sujan Indian Tigers.

 

24th December, 2022

The final match of the Cup was a duel between the marvellous teams Rajnigandha Achievers ((consisting of players Mr. Mukesh Singh, Mr. Vishwarupe Bajaj, Syed Shamsheer Ali, and Mr. Chris Mackenzie) and Sujan Indian Tigers (consisting of players Mr. Jaisal Singh, Kr. Bhawani Singh Kalvi, H.H. Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh of Jaipur, and Mr. Siddhant Sharma). The former donned blue while the latter donned yellow.

The match was off to a competitive beginning as Rajnigandha Achievers scored 3 goals as opposed to Sujan Indian Tigers’ 4 impressive goals in the first chukker. The second chukker was dominated by the Rajnigandha Achievers as they scored 4 stunning goals while the opponent scored none. The score stood at 2-all in the third chukker and Sujan Indian Tigers were leading the final chukker with 3 goals. The final score was 10-9, a close win for the champions, Rajnigandha Achievers.
