Day 1: 27th September, 2022
The first match of the season was held between the gallant teams, Sahara Warriors and Bedla Polo. Players, showing off their mallet from the Bedla Polo Team’s side, were Rao Himmat Singh Bedla, Dhananjai Singh, Angad Kalaan, and Lance Watson, against players Maj Anant Raj Purohit, Maj Yatinder Kumar, Shamsheer Ali, and Chris Mackenzie. Winning the match, the Sahara Warriors team scored 7 goals against 4.
Day 2: 28th September, 2022
The second match of the day pitted Bedla Polo against Mas-Buchi’s Boys, with the former team’s players, Rao Himmat Singh, Dhananjai Singh, Angad Kalan, and Lance Watson against the latter team’s players Capt ARS Warriach, Evan Power, and HH Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh and Abhimanyu Pathak. Both teams engaged in close combat, but the Bedla Polo Team emerged victorious with a score of 5 to 4 goal points.
The second match of the day pitted the V Polo team against the Carysil Chandna, with the former supported by the valiant players Nimit Mehta, Dhruv Pal Godara, and Gaurav Sehgal, and Gonzalo Yanzon, while the latter was backed by players Ranshay Purohit, Ashok Chandna, Kuldeep Singh Rathore, and Matias Vial. The Carysil Chandna team easily defeated the opposing team, winning with a score of 9 to 3.5.
Day 3: 29th September, 2022
Another day, another start for team Sahara Warriors and MAS- Buchi’s Boys, with the former consisting of players Anant Rajpurohit, Lt Col Yatinder Kumar, Shamsheer Ali, and Chris Mackenzie, taking on Adhiraj Singh, Evan Power, HH Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh Of Jaipur, and Abhimanyu Pathak. The Sahara Warriors stunned everyone yet again, winning the game with a score of 10 against 7 goals.
Day 4: 30th September, 2022
The Carysil Chandna and V Polo teams tapped into the battleground. With their mallets held, galloping on the horses were Nimit Mehta, Dhruvpal Godara, Abhimanyu Pathak, and Gonzalo Yanzon, opposing the Carysil Chandna team’s Ranshay Purohit, Ashok Chandna, Kuldeep Singh Rathore, and Matias Vial. The V Polo defeated Carysil Chandna, winning with a score of 7 to 6 goal points.
Day 5: 1st October, 2022
The Rao Raja Hanut Singh Polo Challenge Cup finals were held on October 1st, with a thrilling match between the Sahara Warriors and Carysil Chandna. Maj Anant Rajpurohit, Lt Col Yatinder Kumar, and Chris Mackenzie led Sahara Warriors against Ranshay Purohit, Ashok Chandna, Kuldeep Singh Rathore, and Matias Vial. The finals match was engrossing and apocalyptic, with Chandna Carysil taking the trophy, in a victory of 8 against 7 of Sahara Warriors, forever inscribing their name as Rao Raja Hanut Singh Polo Challenge Cup champions.
