The Royal Family’s equestrian love and enthusiasm about polo has never been a secret. When Gloucestershire welcomed the Maserati Royal Charity Polo Trophy 2018 on June 10, Prince William himself took to the field for a game of polo.
The astonishing backdrop of the Beaufort Polo Club, luxurious cars, and presence of the Royal Family added to the elegance of the event and justified its name by providing a royal outlook.
But that’s not the only way in which the name was justified. The friendly match raised money for two organisations- the Royal Marsden Cancer Hospital and the Centrepoint, a homelessness charity.

HRH Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge sported a Team Maserati jersey as they went head-to-head with Team Dhamani 1969. The latter won the game and were handed over the prestigious trophy in all its glory.
Princess Charlotte, along with her brother Prince George and mother Kate Middleton, was amongst the spectators to watch her father battling it out with a mallet. She delighted everyone around, including her mother, with her adorably playful activities.
