The electric tournament began with the first match between Bedla and Krishna Polo going head to head. From the Bedla Polo camp the members playing were, Rao Himmat Singh Bedla, Dhananjay Singh, Bhawani Singh Kalvi and Lance Watson while for the Krishna Polo Team the representatives were, Pratap Kanota, Vandit Golecha, Col. Ravi Rathore VSM (Retd.) and Siddhant Sharma. Right from the first chukker, Siddhant Sharma wasted no time and dove straight into the first two goals for Krishna Polo alongside the fiery duo Vandit Golecha and Col. Ravi Rathore. On the other end, Bedla Polo came in strong for chukker 2 and 3 with 7 goals scored through the partnership of Bhawani Singh Kalvi and Lance Watson. In the last chukker Siddhant once again came in hot and scored 3 goals alongside Col. Ravi Rathore nonetheless with a single goal Bedla Polo seized the day with 9.5 – 8 goals.
9th February 2022
Kicking off the second day of the tournament V Polo and Sahara Warriors went into battle against each other. Playing for the Sahara Warriors were the members, Ashok Chandna, Naik Ravindra Mang, Daniel Otamendi and H.H. Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh. On the other hand, playing for V Polo were the members, Nimit Mehta, Gaurav Sahgal, Gonzalo Yanzon and Angad Kalaan. Within the first chukker the ace Daniel Otamendi took two goals for the team immediately while in chukker 2 and 3 Angad Kalaan scored for V Polo. Even so, Daniel Otamendi and Ashok Chandna pulled their socks for the last chukker leading the Sahara Warriors to lead with 5 goals by chukker 3 and 4 and their eventual victory with 7 goals against 5.5 goals.
Later in the afternoon, Krishna Polo and Los Polistas went into a tough tussle against each other with Lt. Col Vishal Chauhan replacing Kuldeep Singh Rathore for Los Polistas. He put up a great fight against Siddhant Sharma in the first chukker both scoring goals for their team. Krishna Polo took the lead in chukker 2 but with great defense, chase and teamwork in chukker 3 and 4 Los Polistas took the lead with 4 goals leading to their close victory with 7 goals against 6 goals.
As dusk started to settle in and the heat of the day was passing even more fervor was felt on the polo pitch with Sona Polo and Achievers Vishwa Samura going head to head on the Rajasthan Polo Club grounds. Playing for Sona Polo were Sanjay Kapur, Charlie Tighe, Abhimanyu Pathak and Dhruvpal Godara and on the other end, Lokendra, Maj. M.S. Chouhan, Shamsheer Ali and Juan Cruz Losada played for Achievers Vishwa Samudra. Both maestros Dhruvpal Godara and Shamsheer Ali were unstoppable scoring 3 goals for their team each. Despite the outstanding harmony of Sunjay Kapur and Charlie Tighe’s chase and Abhimanyu Pathak’s defense, the Sona Polo team gained the victory with 7 goals against 6.
10th February 2022
Commencing the lucky third day of the energetic tournament Bedla Polo and Los Polistas went into battle mode on the pitch. With an equivalent back and forth from both sides and exceptional brilliance in strategy, defense and chase it was almost impossible to see who was going to win. Both sides played impeccably to the point that neither side was able to score many goals. Hard luck chukker after chukker eventually Los Polistas sequestered the win with 4 goals against 2 goals.
In the heat of the noon the next match panned out on the Cavalry Grounds with Sona Polo going against V Polo. The veteran Dhruvpal Godara left no stone unturned and scored goal after goal for Sona Polo behind the impregnable defense of Abhinav Pathak and Charlie Tighe. Despite the setbacks the teamwork of Nimit Mehta, Gaurav Sahgal and Gonzalo Yanzon in the third chukker was commendable yet the Sona Polo team was already in the lead with 11 goals against 6.5 goals in the final chukker leading to their triumph.
Later that afternoon, Achievers Vishwa Samudra struck mallets with Sahara Warriors. The highlight of the match was the awe striking dual between Shamsheer Ali and Daniel Otamendi who didn’t disappoint with their goals scoring 4 goals on both ends. Ashok Chandna, Naik Ravindra Mang and H.H. Maharaja Sawai Padmanabh Singh scored 5 goals for the Sahara Warriors team leading to their conquest on the RPC Grounds with 8 goals against the 6 goals of Achievers Vishwa Samudra team.

The first semi-finals of the prestigious tournament finally came around with Los Polistas and Sona Polo going head to head on the pitch. Keeping up the energy of a semi-final match both sides played a thrilling match. Lt. Col Vishal Chauhan, Hurr Ali and Jayvir Singh Gohil pulled their trump cards and scored 6 goals for the Los Polistas team in the first 3 chukkers. Although the brilliant Dhruvpal Godara scored 3 goals by the final chukker yet the Los Polistas team was already ahead with 6 goals against their 4 goals.
The second semi-final took place between Sahara Warriors and Bedla Polo who kept the momentum just as high. By the second chukker both sides were neck to neck on the scoreboard where it was impossible to deem who would take the last minute victory. In the last two chukkers both teams scored goal after goal keeping the equivalent level on the scoreboard till the last minute snag taken by the star Lance Watson leading the team to victory with 8.5 goals against 7 goals.
13th February
Taking the tournament to its pinnacle the final panned out towards the dusk of the day between Bedla Polo and Los Polistas. Keeping the liveliness at its peak throughout the match there was a continuous back and forth between both teams and an exemplary level of polo prowess dawned on the pitch. In spite of the defense shown by the Bedla Polo Team a shining star of this match was Manuel Fernandez Llorente who left no room for the other team to breathe and scored 5 goals for Los Polistas. This in addition to the goals of Lt. Col. Vishal Chauhan and Hurr Ali led to their triumph with 8 goals against 5.5 goals of the prior team. Picking the prestigious Maharaja Sawai Man Singh Gold Cup Los Polistas won the second tournament of the Jaipur Polo Season.
