Talacrest Prince of Wales’s Championship Cup (20 Goal Tournament)

Semi-Final 1: Park Place vs BP Polo

Date: 8 August

After encountering many prior challenges, the tournament finally entered its most crucial knockout stages, the semis. Park Place and BP Polo were the first two teams to compete after a one-day break in the event. Both teams fought with all their strength, but Park Place could handle pressure better, which helped them develop and defend a one-point lead in the last round.

Winners: Park Place ( 12-11 )

Semi-Final 2: Bin Drai Polo vs Shoreline

More excitement was in store for spectators as Bin Drai Polo went up against Shoreline in the second semi-final game. It was another high-scoring feast, with the same scores as the previous game. Bin Drai Polo were in the seat of victory as they performed exceptionally well, controlling the little aspects of the game at crucial moments.

Winners: Bin Drai Polo ( 12-11 )

Sub-Final 1: Ojo Caliente vs Limitless

Date: 10 August

Next up in the event were sub-final games; the first match-up was between Ojo Caliente and Limitless. Fighting for pride, both teams had a close game. Limitless kept up with the opposition for most of the game but couldn’t cross the winning line and lost, falling short of just one point.

Winners: Ojo Caliente ( 8-7 )

Sub-Final 2: BP Polo vs Shoreline

Date: 11 August

The next sub-final game was held on the next day between BP Polo and Shoreline. Both teams proceeded with the game with extreme caution, but BP Polo was extraordinary in this game. Gradually, they were able to defend and score simultaneously throughout the game, which helped them win with a comfortable 3-point margin.

Winners: BP Polo ( 8-5 )

Final: Bin Drai Polo vs Park Place

Date: 11 August

After days of phenomenal action, Bin Drai Polo and Park Place filled the most deserving spots in the tournament. After clinching close wins by one point, both teams entered the final stage prepared to fight with every last breath. Bin Drai Polo were on top of their game that day, showed great teamwork to keep the opposition at bay, and scored just more than a couple of points for a highly anticipated win.
