This year’s Snow Polo World Cup offered a mix of high-scoring thrillers and low-scoring showdowns! Some teams defied the odds to claim victory in some of the most coveted matches. Match 4: Flexjet vs Mackage
Date: 25 January
The fourth qualifier was contested between the teams of Flexjet and Mackage, where Flexjet started with a points advantage. Both teams looked forward to scoring as many goals as possible to get in the lead. Mackage didn’t want the opposition to get too far ahead and tried to catch up with the lead towards the end, but Flexjet secured the win with the points advantage given to them at the start.
Winner: Flexjet ( 7.5-7 )

Match 5: The Kusnacht Practice vs Taos
The next game was between The Kusnacht Practice and Taos. The former team looked quite consistent throughout the game and scored goals regularly. Keeping the game interesting, Taos scored goals whenever they got a chance but were outmatched by their opposition’s intensity and lost two points.
Winner: The Kusnacht Practice ( 6-4 )
Match 6: Azerbaijan Land Of Fire vs World Polo League
The final game of the day was a low-scoring but highly anticipated clash between Azerbaijan Land of Fire and the World Polo League. This tight, low-goal match kept everyone on edge, with the smallest margin deciding the outcome. The former team started with a points advantage and maintained a strong defensive strategy throughout. Despite the World Polo League’s attempts to score, their efforts were thwarted at every turn. In the end, Azerbaijan Land of Fire secured the win, holding onto their initial points advantage.

Match 7 (5th and 6th place): Mackage vs Taos
Date: 26 January
On the final day of the tournament, the first match to determine the 5th and 6th placed teams saw Mackage face off against Taos. Mackage steadily built a small lead and then shifted its focus to defending, effectively preventing any goals. This strategy helped them secure fifth place in this year’s 40° Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz.
Winner: Mackage ( 4-2 )
Subsidiary Final: World Polo League vs Flexjet
The next game was the subsidiary final between the World Polo League and Flexjet. The latter team started with a goal advantage. However, this was not enough to distract the World Polo League from their goal of winning the game. They were able to score a total of seven goals, keeping Flexjet at bay, and win the game by a convincing 1.5-point lead.

Final: The Kusnacht Practice vs Azerbaijan Land Of Fire
The stage was set for a thrilling showdown between two of the most prominent teams, The Kusnacht Practice and Azerbaijan Land of Fire, as they battled for the championship. Azerbaijan Land of Fire started with a points advantage, which they fully capitalised on, maintaining the lead throughout the first two halves. However, The Kusnacht Practice staged a comeback in the latter half, taking the lead by the end of the third chukker. It all came down to the final chukker, where both teams scored one goal each, but it was The Kusnacht Practice who emerged victorious, winning the 40° Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz.
