The audience immersed themselves in the sublime effort displayed by the players on the field. Match 1: Mayfair Chandna vs Army Red
Date: 21 January
The tournament blasted through the first game between Mayfair Chandna and Army Red, where Army Red started with a points advantage. Despite the lead, the Mayfair Chandna team performed phenomenally well under pressure and scored almost a dozen goals to take over the game in a dominating fashion.
Winner: Mayfair Chandna ( 11-7.5 )
Match 2: Jaipur vs Suján Indian Tigers
The second game of the day was held between Jaipur and Suján Indian Tigers. Despite being a low-scoring game, this game had the audience on the edge of their seats. Suján Indian Tigers had a points advantage but were unable to capitalise on the lead given to them and, despite trying hard, fell a couple of points behind, giving Jaipur their first win of the event.
Winner: Jaipur ( 5-3.5 )
Match 3: Rambagh Polo vs Bangalore Greys/Krishna Polo
The last game for the first day showcased a mesmerising game between Rambagh Polo and Bangalore Greys/Krishna Polo. Rambagh Polo was tremendous in this game, exhibiting top-notch teamwork, which helped them develop a lead quickly. The latter team tried to fight back but was simply outmatched by the intensity of the opponents.
Winner: Rambagh Polo ( 10-6 )
Match 4: Bangalore Greys/Krishna Polo vs Aravali Polo
Date: 22 January
The second day brought us a match-up between the teams of Bangalore Greys/Krishna Polo and Aravali Polo. The game was by far the closest game featured in the tournament. Bangalore Greys had already faced a loss in their previous game and, hence, were prepared to give it their all in this one. They were able to hold their nerves when it mattered the most and snatched a close win from Aravali Polo in the very last moments of the game.
Winner: Bangalore Greys/Krishna Polo ( 7-6 )
Match 5: Suján Indian Tigers vs V-Polo
The second game featured for the first time V-Polo against Suján Indian Tigers, where V-Polo started with a points advantage. Despite the push given at the start, V-Polo was unable to keep their lead for a long time. The Suján Indian Tigers were looking to make their comeback in this game and close this one with a win. They scored consecutively, which helped them accumulate 10 goals, making them cruise through victory.
Winner: Suján Indian Tigers ( 10-6.5 )
Match 6: Delta Polo vs Army Red
The last game on the second day was held between Delta Polo and Army Red. In this game, Army Red had a points advantage prior to the game. Delta Polo, however, were able to quickly overcome this disadvantageous situation and started scoring goals one after another to provide themselves with a comfortable lead, which helped them get over the finish line, giving them their first win of the tournament.

Match 7: Aravali vs Rambagh Polo
Date: 23 January
Three games were held on the last day of league matches. The first one showcased talents from the teams of Aravali and Rambagh Polo. This one was a really close game, which made everyone in the arena sweat in high anticipation. The match was tied in the final few moments when Aravali was able to score a miraculous goal in the very last few seconds of the final round to get in the lead and win this match.
Winner: Aravali ( 5-4 )
Match 8: Delta Polo vs Mayfair Chandna
The second close game for the day featured Delta Polo against Mayfair Chandna. Both teams were equally poised for the win, which was evident by their cautious gameplay. Mayfair Chandna was prepared for the challenge as they were able to keep up with the scoring of Delta Polo, but eventually, it was Delta Polo who were a little better at playing under pressure, which helped them get away with a win by just one extra point.

Match 9: Jaipur vs V-Polo
The last league game presented a chance for V-Polo to reclaim some honour as they went up against the mighty Jaipur. V-Polo had a points advantage before the game, which they tried to use to full effect and scored some initial goals to take the lead. However, this lead was quickly overtaken by Jaipur as they went ahead and scored more than a dozen goals, which proved to be more than enough to sign off the league stages with a win.

Semi-Final 1: Delta Polo vs Suján Indian Tigers
Date: 25 January
It was time for the epic showdown battle between the most dominant teams in the semi-finals of the coveted Rajmata Gayatri Devi Memorial Cup. Two of the most consistent teams were against one another, looking desperately for a win to qualify for the finals. Suján Indian Tigers were scoring goals at regular intervals, and along with the lead given to them at the start, they were proving to be a stubborn hurdle for Delta Polo. Despite this, Delta Polo was able to overcome every obstacle with their teamwork and won the game, scoring eight goals.
Winner: Delta Polo ( 8-6.5 )
Semi-Final 2 (Raghu Sinha Mala Mathur Memorial Cup): Jaipur vs Bangalore Greys/Krishna Polo
The second semifinal in line was also played as an exhibition game for the title of Raghu Sinha Mala Mathur Memorial Cup. It was a great opportunity for the teams to kill two birds with one stone, i.e., qualify for the finals as well as become the worthy beholders of the Raghu Sinha Mala Mathur Memorial Cup. This was a high-scoring game where both teams were looking to take a huge lead, but in the end, it was the team of Jaipur that bounced back into the game during the second half and scored over a dozen goals to not only claim their rightful place in the finals but also become the champions of the Raghu Sinha Mala Mathur Memorial Cup.

Final: Jaipur vs Delta Polo
Date: 26 January
On Republic Day, people gathered on a fine afternoon in hopes of witnessing a fierce battle between Jaipur and Delta Polo. As expected, these powerhouses descended upon the field with their finest gameplay, and Delta Polo was quickly able to build up a lead of five points by the end of the first half. In the third chukker, Jaipur made a valiant comeback and scored half a dozen goals to level the scores, and the game remained tied by the end of the last round. The match went into overtime, where the deciding goal was scored by Jaipur, ending all anticipation and making them the winners of this year’s Rajmata Gayatri Devi Memorial Cup.
