India’s royal heritage is set to shine globally through a unique blend of sports and fashion. A key supporter of Polo, U.S. Polo Assn. named His Highness Sawai Padmanabh Singh, affectionately known as ‘Pacho,’ as the Global Ambassador, collaborating to create a collection that elevates wardrobes with regal charm. La Polo attended the exclusive launch event held at the City Palace, Jaipur.
The collection, inspired by Jaipur’s royal legacy, celebrates the city’s polo tradition and the cultural richness of the historic City Palace. Announced with a campaign themed “Born to Lead, Born to Win, Born to Play”, it embodies the spirit of sportsmanship and heritage.
Each design tells a tale of the city’s exuberant and vibrant culture, honouring the architectural marvels and motifs of the City Palace. The designs also showcase the iconic Panchranga flag, an integral part of Rajasthan’s cultural identity. This capsule collection will debut in the Autumn-Winter 2024 season, emphasising the rich fabrics, including the Zardosi crest detailing and the design aesthetic fusing classic U.S. Polo Assn. And the essence of Jaipur.

Even Amitabh Suri, the Chief Executive Officer of USPA, was delightful of this collaboration going on to mention the date as “an important milestone for U.S. Polo Assn. in India.”
His Highness Sawai Padmanabh Singh’s name has become synonymous with Indian polo due to his fervent contribution to and promotion of the sport. So this partnership felt like a match made in heaven, given the legacy of the brand and the spirit of polo embodied in the young Maharaja. His personal style shines through in every element, from the colour tones to the luxurious textures, making each piece a bespoke statement, adding to its timeless flair. “U S Polo Assn. has been the biggest promoter of polo around the world.
