Chelsea Flower Show

Every year, the Chelsea Flower Show transforms the Royal Hospital Chelsea’s gardens in London into a breathtaking display of floral artistry. The Chelsea Flower Show, officially known as the Great Spring Show, boasts a rich heritage dating back to 1912, celebrating over a century of horticultural creativity in Britain and beyond. In the 1920s, Chelsea tea parties became a staple of the Flower Show week. Royal visits were rare until the coronation of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth I, who became regular attendees with their daughters, Princesses Elizabeth and Margaret (later Queen Elizabeth II and Princess Margaret, Countess of Snowdon).
