Umaid Bhawan Palace Sir Pratap Singh Cup (12 Goal)

November 11 - November 17

A polo player in a blue jersey rides a galloping brown horse, striking a ball on a lush grassy field.

Sir Pratap Polo Cup is one of the oldest and most traditional tournaments of Indian polo history. It dates back to when the fulcrum of polo in India was established in 1892, as the IPA. The Cup was presented for the first time in 1921 by Maharaja Sir Pratap Singh of Jodhpur in commemoration of the visit of HRH The Duke of Connaught to India. The inaugural tournament was played between the teams of Delhi and Patiala, where Delhi secured the win in the 14-goal trophy. This year the 12 goal will surely feature some formidable action on the field.
