Bin Drai faced Abu Dhabi in the finals of the Julius Baer Gold Cup 2018 held at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club. Bin Drai were determined to win the game and were 2-1 up by the end of the first chukker. Bin Drai extended their lead in the second chukker as they scored three more goals to make it 5-3 at the end of it. Bin Drai went full throttle in the third chukker as they scored 4 more to make the score 9-3 at halftime.


The fifth chukker was no different as they scored three more to make it 12-4 by the end of it. A late comeback by Abu Dhabi saw them score five goals in the final chukker but it was too late and Bin Drai won the match and along with it the Julius Baer Gold Cup, 2018.

Andrés Laplacette was named the Most Valuable Player of the final (MVP) and Cruzeiro (played by Raúl Laplacette in the 1st and 4th chukker) the Best Playing Pony (BPP). Cruzeiro was also the BPP of the McLaren Silver Cup 2018.
Desert Palm achieved the Bentley Cup after defeating Habtoor Polo by 7 goals to 5 in the final.
