The Women’s Polo Masters final was played between Brigade One Polo team and Why Not on Sunday, the 27th of May at the Villa a Sesta Polo Club in La Toscana, Italy.
Brigade One Polo team featuring Berdine Odendaal, Jeanine Hugo, Luisa del Carril and Lia Salvo went up against Why Not that had Farida Rosso Baldachino, Beanie Bradley, Hana Grill and Hazel Jackson Gaona in their ranks.
The final was a tight affair and both the teams defended resolutely with neither of them giving each other any space to work the ball through. The match was gripping, to say the least and after a lot of hard work, One Brigade Polo Team came out on top by 4 goals to 2 and were thereby crowned champions.
Despeinada played by Jeanine Hugo was distinguished the best of the contest.
