La Mancha Amadeus and Pilara Etiqueta Negra will fight in the final of the Chamber of Deputies Cup 2018 and will define the tournament. After almost 60 mm. Rain fell on Thursday, 13th December, the authorities of the AAP decided to wait until Sunday. The tournament which started off with 16 teams in competition is in its final stages. The semi-finals of the tournament, which were played at the Alfredo Lalor Headquarters grabbed a lot of eyeballs and witnessed some good Polo action.

The first semi-final witnessed a tough battle between La Mancha Amadeus and recent winner of the Municipality Of Pilar Cup, La Irenita. In a match that had the rarity of having two consecutive chukkers without goals, La Mancha Amadeus emerged as the winners and progressed to the finals.

The second semi-final of the tournament between Pilara Etiqueta Negra and Las Monjitas witnessed a fierce fight between the two teams until the last chukker. Pilara Etiqueta Negra scored quick goals in the last chukker to qualify to the finals.

La Mancha Amadeus played with Genaro Ringa (+6), Lucas Diaz Alberdi (+6), Martin Aguerre (+6) and Bautista Bayugar (+6) against La Irenita. La Irenita played with a strong team comprising of Santiago Loza 6, Juan Jauretche 6, Martín Podestá (h) 6 and Diego Araya 7. A tough match between these two strong teams winded up with La Mancha Amadeus’ victory. The second semi-final saw Pilará Etiqueta Negra, comprising of Segundo Bocchino 6, Julio Novillo Astrada 7, Alejandro Muzzio 8 and Matías Torres Zavaleta 7 play against Los Monjitas. A good play from Los Monjitas’ players - Bautista Ortiz de Urbina 6, Santiago Cernadas 6, Miguel del Carril (h) 6 and Matías Fernández Llanos 6 gave a taut competition to Pilara Etiqueta Niagara. The match was quite intense but Pilara Etiqueta Niagara were able to win the match.

The final of the tournament, which will play Pilará Etiqueta Negra and La Mancha Amadeus, will be played on Sunday 16/12 at the venue to be confirmed
