The Iglehart Cup reached it’s summit on Thursday, March 15th in what
turned out to be a thrilling contest at the International Polo Club Palm
Beach | West Palm Beach, Florida. La Indiana went head to head with
Pilot to win the 20-goal tournament.
In a thrilling encounter, it was Team Pilot that came out on top, and won the Iglehart Cup.
La Indiana wanted to take revenge as Pilot had already beaten them by 12-3 earlier in the tournament, however, Team Pilot got the better of them yet again, and won the match by 11 goals to 9, and with it the Iglehart Cup.
The Pieres brothers - Facundo and Gonzalo, proved too hot to handle for their opponents and scored all 11 goals between them. Facundo scored a whooping eight goals while his brother Gonzalo scored the other three goals for Team Pilot.
It was a much better performance by la Indiana as compared to the last time and they scored 8 goals , four each by Jorba and Oregon. La Indiana gave it their best but by the end of the 6th chukker, despite their best efforts, it was Team Pilot, yet again, that finished on top.
