he journey of Longines being associated with sports started in 1878 when the first chronograph, the legendary 20H movement, was manufactured by them. Having many years of timekeeping experience, many sports organisations rely on them. In 1985 Longines became official timekeeper for all artistic and rhythmic gymnastics of the International Gymnastics Federation following its long time commitment to gymnastics initiated in 1912.

Gymnastics is a sport that requires balance, strength, flexibility, agility, endurance and control. The movements involved in gymnastics contribute to the development of the arms, legs, shoulders, chest and abdominal muscle groups. Alertness, precision, daring, self-confidence and self-discipline are mental traits that can also be developed through gymnastics.

The Chinese Men’s Gymnastics team has always been a moving force in the world of gymnastics. The fine skills of Li Ning, Li Xiaoshuang to Li Xiaopeng, Yang Wei have never failed to prove the world how china produces some of the finest gymnasts.

The 1984 Los Angeles Olympics heralded the legend of Chinese Men’s Gymnastics when the team won silver in the group competition. In 2003, 2006, 2007 and 2010, the team won gold medals at the World Championships, proving their strength, skills & leadership with their mind boggling performance.

Today, the brand is present in various sports, which must always live up to its criteria of elegance.
