fter an exciting first day , much was expected from the second day as Jindal Panther took on Sahara warriors Achievers. Naveen Jindal, Cutinelli R Goffredo , Shamsheer Ali and Simran Singh Shergill started for Jindal Panther. Pranav Kapur , Matthew Perry , Abhimanyu Pathak and Satinder Garcha started for Sahara Warrior Achievers. The match umpires were Mr Nicolas Scortichini and Mr Uday Kalaan. The first chukker was a tight affair as both teams looked for a goal but only the Achievers could get on the scoresheet and the score after the first chukker saw the Sahara Warrior Achievers lead by a goal to nil.
The second chukker saw both the teams score twice. The first two were scored by Jindal before Sahara replied by two of their own. The score at the end of it being 3-2 in favour of Sahara.
The third chukker saw Sahara increase their lead as they scored two and Jindal could only get one , the score at the end of it being 5-3. The fourth chukker saw a lot of goals as Goffredo scored two for Jindal and Sahara scored three, thanks to Pranav Kapur , Satinder Garcha and Abhimanyu Pathak who completed his hattrick with this goal.
The fifth chukker was intense to say the least as only Jindal Panther scored, Goffredo completing his hattrick in the process , the score being 8-6 in favour of the Sahara Warriors.
Jindal Panther completed the turnaround as they scored three without a reply. An unfortunate fall saw Pranav Kapur getting injured. Apart from that, a thrilling contest between two of the best teams in the nation saw both teams fight till the very end. Jindal Panther showed great character and fighting spirit to salvage a win after being down. Great match , great day. Wishing Pranav Kapur a speedy recovery and hope to see him back in action soon.
