Mahra Polo took on Desert Palm Polo in an exciting match on the second day of the Julius Baer Gold Cup 2018 at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club.
The first two chukkers were tight and the score by the end of the second was 3-3. Mahra went full throttle in the third and scored five goals in response to just one by Desert Palm Polo, and were up by the end of the third chukker by 8-4.
After a relatively quiet fourth chukker which ended at 9-5 , Desert Palm made an amazing comeback to level the scores at 9-9 but Benjamin Urquiza scored a brilliant solo goal to the back the lead with just a minute left on the clock. Mahra held on to their lead and consequently won the match by 10-9.
