Bin Drai faced Zedan while Abu Dhabi faced Mahra in their semifinal matches held at the Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club, Dubai, UAE.
The first match featured Abu Dhabi and Mahra with the former getting to a good start, and were 5-1 up at the end of the second chukker. Mahra scored two goals in the third to make it 5-3 at half time. Mahra scored two more in the fourth chukker and Abu Dhabi scored one to make it 6-5 in their favour. The final chukker saw Abu Dhabi score three more to make it 9-7 to win the match and seal a place in the finals. Isidro Strada (Mahra) & Adolfo Capella (Abu Dhabi) were the top scorers of the match with 4 goals each.
The second match saw Bin Drai go against Zedan.The first chukker of the match went in favour of Zedan as they scored twice to lead 2-1 at the end of the first chukker. After a goalless second chukker, Bin Drai levelled things up as they scored twice in response to one by Zedan to make it 3-3 at half time. The final two chukkers saw both teams level on goals scored but a late penalty scored by Raul Laplacette decided the game in favour of Bin Drai by 6 goals to 5. Raul Laplacette (Bin Drai) was the top scorer of the match with 4 goals.
