San Eugenio organized the second edition of the Ladies Cup
presented by Stella Artois with the participation of six teams of
up to 12 goals of handicap in what was the first tournament of
the women's season in Argentina.
La Dolfina Brava faced El Metejon in the finals of the San Eugenio Ladies Cup at the San Eugenio polo Club in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Saturday, March 17th.
La Dolfina were trailing, however, with the introduction of the 6- goal handicap player - Milagros Sanchez, the match swayed in the favor of Brava Polo Team.
Despite stormy weather in the last chukker, the play went on. La Dolfina Brava defeated El Metejon by 5 goals to 4 and with it, the San Eugenio Ladies Cup 2018.
Milagros Sanchez was named the MVP. Other special awards were :
Special Awards Best Mounted Tournament: Leaving Safe. Best Exemplary of the tournament: Irenita Farida (Clara Casino). Best player of the tournament: Milagros Sánchez. Best amateur player: Fleur Van Andel. Best exemplary AACCP: Dolfina Tantric (Andrea Ferreira). Sports Spirit: Andrea Ferreira.
