Neptune Foundation, registered under the Societies Registration Act 1860 is an initiative focused at caring for the girl child and the aged.
The foundation hosted a Polo Match on 17th December, 2017 at Jaipur Polo Grounds, New Delhi. Being an Annual Event, the first such match was organized on 25 December 2009.
There were two matches, the first between the teams Soltiare and Cotton Harbour and the second(Neptune Cup) between Vyom and Neptune , followed by lucky draw announcements and awards ceremony. The first match was won by Solitaire and the Neptune Cup by Vyom.
The foundation hopes to raise funds for the noble cause and spread awareness about the girl child through this endeavour” said Cdr C P Sharma, President of Neptune Foundation. “Our medium term objective is to reach out to atleast 50 schools targeting education for the girl child”, he added.
The chief guest for the event was Mr. Amit Burman, Vice Chairman – Dabur. Guest of Honour was Ms Mary Kay Carlson,Deputy Chief of Mission at the US Embassy.
The event was well attended by Corporate Czars, senior Defence personnel, Bureaucrats, Royalty, Political high commands, Leaders, Diplomat community.
