Celebration of Sir Winston Churchill’s love for Polo this Friday at Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club

Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club is going to celebrate Sir Winston Churchill’s love for Polo this Friday, December 8, 2017. The special guests going to witness the events are Sir Churchill’s grandson George John Godolphin Spencer Churchill, the Marquess of Blandford and British Ambassador, HE Philipp Braham.
Al Habtoor Polo Resort & Club is hosting the Sir Winston Churchill Cup in their luxurious equestrian resort in the heart of Dubai. The tournament is already made a good start with the opening match of Habtoor Polo vs. Habtoor Wolves, in which Habtoor Polo won the match by 8 to 6.5. In the second match Mahra Polo played against Kuwait Polo, in the ferocious contest, Mahra Polo won the match with the score of 7 to 6.
The final match of Sir Winston Churchill Cup is scheduled on 8th December. It will be an event not just for the Polo enthusiasts but for their families and friends as the event will be featuring activities such as magicians, face-painting, henna art, and raffles – keeping the little ones entertained all day. Mouthwatering food from renowned St. Regis food truck will be on standby and the internationally awarded Caffe di Artisan will be serving their superb coffees.
